Rochelle Becker at NRC meeting regarding SONGS steam generator–October 9, 2012 in Dana Point

Rochelle Becker, Executive Director of the Alliance for Nuclear Responsibility, discusses the non-profit group’s history, actions and goals to protect California ratepayer’s interests regarding the state oversight of the economics and reliability of nuclear power. The event is the October 9th meeting of the NRC at Dana Point to discuss the ongoing power outages at SONGS because of the failure of the replacement steam generators.

 

 

Rochelle Becker, Executive Director of the Alliance for Nuclear Responsibility, raises concerns about potential problems with the cement pour that repaired the holes cut in the San Onofre nuclear plant containment domes in order to replace the steam generators.
