Federal Decommissioning Collaborative

The Departments of Commerce, Energy and five other federal agencies met to ascertain the impacts of reactor closures and determine what policies/opportunities they might provide to mitigate these concerns. Regional offices from these departments are now holding summits in local communities to share information and determine what federal resources might be a good fit. A4NR met with Santa Barbara and SLO County local state and federal officials, as well as chamber and business groups, and introduced them all to this valuable program.
